Pasta, Vino, e Amici
Last month I had the amazing opportunity to go on a trip to Florence, Italy with one of my best friends, Colleen Murphy. Five years ago we studied abroad and lived in Florence for four months. Naturally, we loved the city so much and I couldn't resist the chance to go back again.
This time around, we skipped all the tourist BS and did Florence right. We ate, we drank, we walked around the city aimlessly. We had a lot of cheese. We even had the pleasure of spending time with our amazing friend Angie, and her mother Tina who was a professor at our school in Florence. Luckily, Colleen has stayed close with their family over the years and they graciously welcomed us into their home for an authentic Italian meal.
The past few months have been so crazy, and this trip was the perfect adventure to fuel new creativity and get me excited for me new start in NYC. I took tons of photos and even made a little video!
Our week in Florence was beyond wonderful. We filled our days with taking photos, painting, and searching for the next best gelato. I can't wait to go back one day.
